Warrnambool

Known as ‘the city by the sea,’ Warrnambool is one of Victoria’s coastal cities and is the capital of Victoria’s South Coast area. Located south-west of Melbourne, Warrnambool has a strong maritime heritage as well as one of the fastest growing economies in the State of Victoria.

The coasts and surrounding foreshores provide a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of the range of water events, sports and activities available in Warrnambool.

International students, especially those from large cities, love Warrnambool’s freedom and its fresh air.

They love the wide streets, the easy access to jobs and the spacious campuses of the government and non government schools as well as Deakin University’s contemporary campus situated on the banks of a pristine river.

In perfect contrast, the vibrant South West TAFE campus is situated right in the centre of the city.

Warrnambool’s network of public and private transport provides both students and tourists with easy access to all facilities and to the city of Melbourne.
